The folks at Carscoop have uncovered several design renderings of Mitsubishi’s upcoming compact crossover.

Essentially a production cX concept, the crossover features an Evo-like grille, Lancer-style headlights, and pronounced fender flares. Other design details include a character line that runs from the A- to D-pillar, a miniscule rear quarter window, and a nearly vertical tailgate.

Riding on Mitsubishi’s mid-size global platform (which also underpins the Lancer and Outlander), the compact crossover will be powered by a variety of four-cylinder engines including a new 1.8-liter turbo-diesel with 136 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque.

While Mitsubishi hasn’t revealed the crossover’s name, the company has confirmed it will debut at the Geneva Motor Show after going on sale in Japan in February 2010.

Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Although not reach the market until a few months, Mitsubishi has introduced the most powerful version of the sport and range Mitsubishi Lancer apart to “virtually no competition” Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X , arriving in dealerships in August.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart will acquire both the body as a sedan in the new version Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback , five doors and more versatile. In both mechanics will be the same, a block of two liters pressure charged with 240 hp and a maximum torque of 36.0 mkg at 3,000 rpm. The benefits are very good, with a maximum speed in excess of 220 km / h and an acceleration of 0 to 100 kph less than 7 seconds.

With regard to conventional Mitsubishi Lancer improvements have been made in chassis, brakes, direction and has comprehensive AWC traction, though less sophisticated than in the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO . Also known novelty regarding the Mitsubishi Lancer is the change of SST sequential automatic double clutch with six speeds, similar to that of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X .

The envelope serial Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart will be very comprehensive and elements such as automatic air conditioning, outdoor sports package, alloy wheels, MP3 CD radio, electric package, ESP, TCS, etc.. Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart shall series. From prices still can not talk much while taking into account what it costs a conventional and a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X , we can intuit that around € 33.000-35.000.

Surprised at the Barcelona version of the Lancer Ralliart Sportback

There are still a few months for his official presentation in Paris, but the Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback is already walking naked through the streets of Barcelona. Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Sportback Will it be a thing of the heat? Danidmas of The Auto Union, had the great fortune to meet one of the first units of the compact during a demonstration for the press, and neither short nor lazy bland chamber to immortalize your phone before they disappear.

As you can see from the pictures, the version of the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Sportback features the same front of Evo sedan, complementing the rest of the body with skirts, obscured tires and a small rear spoiler. The mechanical available in Europe for the base model will be three, a Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Sportback 1.5, 1.8 and Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Sportback 2.0, petrol, diesel and petrol respectively. The M itsubishi Lancer Ralliart Sportback will use a more powerful Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Sportback 2.0 turbo with 240 hp.

It seems that everyone has their eyes on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo , but this is not the only monster in tearing the roads with the logo of the three diamonds in your grill. We have long heard news about a rival for economic WRX, with a turbo engine and traction integral. Now, the emergence of this prototype Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart in Death Valley confirms this information.

As the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo , the test mule caught Winding Road to equip an intercooler Front, a small air intake on the bonnet and two exhaust pipes, losing only the wheel arches ensanchados, the imposing rear wing and front insertion black enplastico .

During the launch of the new Mitsubishi Lancer last year, an employee of the company revealed that the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart version again shortly, this time with more emphasis on performance. The model today, alongside the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo and prices predictably very suggestive, will bitterly their lives in the Impreza, that however much they behave as expected of a Subaru, has placed his fans in stampede with one of the most controversial designs in recent years. Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart …

According to Forero of EvolutionM.net jmk2888, the car you have on these lines is the new Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart . His photographer, pointing to work for Mitsubishi in California, said that the car was parked briefly at the offices of the company, but now is “en route to a fair car.” What strange, we wonder what will be the closest.

As far as jmk2888 said, these are the characteristics that we should wait. To avoid disappointment, tratalas as pure speculation until we receive official confirmation by Mitsu:

new Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart :
new Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart 230-240 horses
new Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Drive to all four wheels
new Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Change five-speed manual or Twin Clutch SST
new Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Recaro sport seats
new Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Tire GTS in dark grey
new Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Rear Spoiler GTS
new Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart GPS Navigator available

In front, we can see that the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart has a distinctive face, dominated by a chrome grille edge. On top of it you can see the emblem of Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart . Once again, as jmk2888 model picture is painted in a reddish orange called “Sunset Pearlescent,” finished only available in the Eclipse. He also said that the stamp Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart is present in the rear, Forero and others have realized that appears to be equipped with the same HID headlamps that assembles the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X . Assuming that we will see him in Mitsubishi Lancer Detroit , you can expect any official information and a handful of photos at the beginning of next week.

Mitsubishi Europe today has provided the first details on the new Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart , and if it were not because we are talking about an information officer, would cost us believe what we have just read. It’s clear.

As reported, the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart will be a five-door Hatchback in Europe (Can Liftback?), While in North America will be sold under their appearance sedan. The engine chosen is none other than a loosening of the 2.0 turbo version of the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X , with around 240 horse power. This point is surprising as the fact that change should incorporate the new dual clutch and six speeds of the house, a transmission that is only available in the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO MR . Of course, the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart model will also receive assistance from the traction Super All-Wheel Control, in addition to that provided by systems AYC (guinada control) and ACD (active central differential). Other features of interest are the bonnet of aluminium, Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Recaro front seats, sport steering wheel with cams and a specific grid. In the foregoing, the British Channel4 page sum wipers with rain sensor, Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart automatic xenon lights and headlamp cleaning. Almost nothing.

Mitsubishi Motors will launch a plug-in hybrid crossover at this year’s Tokyo auto show in a vehicle that is slightly smaller than an Outlander and which is said to rival Nissan’s Qashqai.

The hybrid development is part of Mitsubishi’s plan to move its focus from large-engined SUVs to smaller, more efficient powerplants, Gayu Uesugi, head of product development, told headlineauto.

Mitsubishi will debut a new 1.8-litre diesel engine later this year as part of this strategy. The engine, co-developed with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries – the first time the two companies have cooperated on engine development – was part of the now-abandoned Dakar motorsport program. Mitsubishi has moved its motorsport engineers to new roles helping develop its electric vehicle program.

The company also says that its future product strategy will be much more global rather than developing different vehicles for Japan, Europe and North America as it has done in the past.

Mitsubishi The Australian automotive industry has today received a severe blow to know that Mitsubishi will close its plant in Adelaide, in the same factory which currently builds its 380 sedan (aka Galant). In practical terms this means that approximately 1,000 workers will stay on the streets very soon, as they closed the doors on March 31. The decision was taken even after the government offered aid to keep the factory running, but the Australians lost their V8 engines, and for what it is, the 3.8 V6 engine equipped by Mitsubishi fell far short of meet their needs, something that has been observed in sales disastrous. With this closure Mitsubishi disappears as a manufacturer on the island continent, where, in 2005 closed its engine production plant, also located in Adelaide.

According to Mitsubishi UK which attracts more buyers of the Mitsubishi i is its small size, although other factors such as the high level of equipment and costs have also played a big role, no doubt with a distinct aesthetic and personal.

The Mitsubishi Triton is getting a boost from Down Under. Team Mitsubishi Ralliart or TMR unveils a Triton packed not only with mutton on the loadbox, but plenty of horses up front as well at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney. The concept car, which essentially will look the way we see it here, is a study into the ever-increasing need to marry utility with power and drivability. Using its usual 3.2-litre turbo diesel mill, TMR has prepared this Triton to force out 132kW (177hp) at some 3800rpm. Torque has gone up to 450Nm (332 ft-lb) from a relatively low 2000rpm.

Suspension has been uprated in order to cope with the extra power, brakes get stronger (Ferodo pads fitted), ABS and EBD are standard. It goes fast and stops fast, that’s the message. Those Pirelli Scorpion ATR 255/55R18 tyres on Dakar allow wheels also prove a point as far as the fast farmer is concerned. Interior is improved as well, with leather seats braided with TMR logos, a USB input, integrated Bluetooth and hands-free iPod control. Looks the part, seems to deliver too. Hope they build it for the public.
